Port Coquitlam Judo Club

We’re wrapping up our Spring Session this week with our last night of instruction on Tuesday, June 10th with Grading on Thursday, June 12th. Our Summer Session Starts on Tuesday, June 24th and our Fall Session starts on Tuesday, September 16th due to renovations at Hyde Creek Recreation Centre.

We had quite a few students and instructors grade for their next Judo rank this past December. Mr. Speight was promoted to Rokudan (6th Degree Black Belt). Kristi Roots was promoted to Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt). Congratulations Kristi! Teresa was promoted to Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) Congratulations Everyone!

Dave Speight, being presented with his Rokudan Certificate from Judo Canada by Port Coquitlam Judo’s Assistant Head Instructor Rick Blanchard (Godan).
