We’re reaching out to ask for your help in sharing an opportunity with Japanese Canadian youth in your network. The Nikkei Youth Sports, Arts & Culture Bursary is now open for applications, and we’re hoping you can forward the details to those who may be eligible and interested.

Awarded annually by the Nikkei Place Foundation, this bursary offers $1,250 to support Japanese Canadian youth (age 25 and under) in or pursuing post-secondary education who show leadership, dedication, and community involvement in sports, the arts or cultural activities.

Are you a young Japanese Canadian passionate about sports, the arts, or cultural activities?

The Nikkei Youth Sports, Arts & Culture Bursary supports Japanese Canadian youth (25 and under) who are currently in or pursuing post-secondary education and actively engaged in their passions. Whether you’re an athlete, artist, performer, or cultural advocate, this $1,250 bursary is for those making a positive impact through their talents and involvement.
