Grading 2013 1

Instructors Chris Drieschner (6 PM Class) and Tom Argue (7 PM Class), successfully graded for their Nidan rank (Second Degree Black Belt) this past June in front of the Judo BC Grading board.

Thanks to Harley who did a great job being the Kata partner in Tom’s and Chris’ grading, and good job to Kurt who also helped a Judoka from the Abbotsford Judo Club obtain his first degree black belt.

It’s been an eventful year for black belt gradings for Poco Judo where the past year’s grading (June 2012, December 2012) also included

  • Mike Crandell – Yondan (4th Degree)
  • John Morris – Yondan (4th Degree)
  • Stephan Duran – Sandan (3rd Degree)
  • Harley Mechalchuk – Shodan (1st Degree)
  • Duncan Rice – Shodan (1st Degree)
  • Kurt Roots – Shodan (1st Degree)

Congrats Everybody!
